Senior Account Executive

£80k – £100k (OTE £160k – £200k uncapped) + Bens
The company are a provider of Low-Code SaaS solutions to the Insurance market, currently supporting Insures, Brokers and MGA’s with their highly innovative technology.
They are still very much an early-stage tech business and have had some fantastic success through founder-led sales, securinga number of well known clients and achieving an impressive financial performance year on year.
They have approximately 25 employees in the UK, are well funded and are now looking to establish and scale a high-performing sales team.
The business is looking to appoint a Senior Account Executive / Sales Manager to join them ASAP, with responsibility for new business development, selling into mid-size carriers in the UK initially, with a view to developing the US and European markets when appropriate.
Reporting directly into the CEO, you will be responsible for the following
- Identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients in the Insurance space
- Leveraging existing networks and relationships to generate commercial interest, where appropriate
- Qualifying and generating demand at prospects
- Creating compelling value propositions based on client needs
- Negotiating and closing long term agreements
- Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline information
To be successful in this role, you will need a good knowledge of the Insurance landscape, with experience selling SaaS solutions into carriers.
This is a start-up and you will be well supported, but you will need to possess a strong hunting and sales acumen, with a good track record of originating, qualifying and closing new business.
