The company are a global consultancy, solely focused on delivering Data & Analytics Solutions for clients in markets such as; Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences, Financial Services, Retail & CPG, Automotive and Manufacturing. They specialise in the delivery of Modern Cloud Data Solutions for many clients in their chosen target markets. Using innovative technologies, they deliver data pipelines, cloud data architectures, advanced analytical and AI/ML solutions.
The business is looking for a dedicated, ambitious and self-motived sales professional with a passion for helping customers achieve more with Data, Analytics and AI. You will have experience in new business sales, ideally in a services based organisation and are looking to take your career to the next level – ultimately being responsible for all sales activity for one of our key target markets.
Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving outbound sales activity and the winning of new logo accounts. Whilst you will be accountable for your pipeline, the BDD, our marketing engine and established relationships with technology partners will support these efforts.
All sales related activity will be logged into the CRM to ensure consistency across the customer engagement with our consulting and delivery teams.

In the role, you will:
- Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring and developing net new business with organisations in the target markets
- Build a pipeline for new business growth
- Lead and manage the proposal development stage
- Work closely with key technology partners to further develop new business opportunities
As Business Development Manager, ideally you will offer
- A track record in technology sales ( ideally with some services experience)
- Strong business development and sales skills
- Excellent communicator and presenter
- Ability to build strong relationships with key client stakeholders and partner with them to drive critical business outcomes – become a trusted advisor
- Analyse customer needs, identify opportunities f and apply fast, effective solutions to remove objections/roadblocks
- Accountability – you need to own the end-to-end prospecting and sales cycle
- Experience of Data, Analytics & AI a plus
