We use traditional headhunting methods to source and engage with top talent, rather than
relying on using any advertising or online CV search options. It’s likely you have already tried this and it hasn’t worked, which is why you are talking to us.

The process
We understand that the process in which we follow isn't groundbreaking but due to our experience and knowledge within the SaaS industry we understand the language, the nuances of the skills required and have the network to provide you the service you require from a Specialist SaaS Recruitment Agency.
1. Just a chat
Exploratory Call
Following your initial outreach to us, a member of our team will contact you and begin an exploratory call. We appreciate you may have already started your search yourself, you may have already worked with an agency, you may not know exactly what you need. It will be during this call that we discuss the steps you have taken up until this point and our initial instincts to your requirements.
Fully digesting your primary requirements and timelines, we will discuss with you, our terms and pricing then allow you some time to relay and agree with any stakeholders within the process, should this be needed.
2. It's all in the details
Detailed Brief
Once terms agreed, we take a more detailed brief in person with all key stakeholders. We then endeavour to work through your exact requirements, discuss your competitors, the timelines and urgency of finding the right SaaS Sales Professional and package you have to offer and if that is right for the current market conditions.
Working along side all parties involved we will work to gain an indepth perspective on the specific character traits, skills set hard and soft, that the prospective candidate will need to fit into the business and team culture.
3. Research and qualification is the key
The Search
Like many other recruitment businesses, at Harvey Thomas we conduct most of our work on LinkedIn. The difference our approach, is our knowledge, experience and credibility.
We know exactly who the top talent is, we know how to approach and engage with them and we know how to qualify them, properly.
Qualification of a candidate is a unique quality that many are unable to carry out thoroughly, understanding the figures presented and being able to extract and determine what has been over inflated, is an art.
As a business we are very well known in the SaaS industry and every placement is either someone we know, someone who has been referred to us, or someone we have headhunted directly. As we are not utilising any online advertising or CV Search, the vast majority of candidates we work with are not actually active on the market, which reduces competition. Once our research has been conducted, we strenuosly qualify and present a shortlist of candidates.
4. Lets get timings aligned
Hiring
Once carefully qualified, a shortlist of candidates is presented, we then work closely with you to keep all deadlines on track for the interview process.
Dependent on the structure of your SaaS business, an early-stage start up or enterprise, the level of position you are hiring for Account Executive, VP or Sales Director, may depend on the interview procedures you like to
follow.
1 or 2 interviews, presentations, psychometric testing, discussions interviews with a number of key stakeholders, we endevour to keep timings on track and all parties informed and calendars synced at every step.
Once a candidate has been successfully selected, we finalise details with you and present the offer and package. Communicating and negotiating on your behalf until all areas of the contract agreed.
5. Its ongoing
Onboarding
Its important to us and our relationships with both candidates and clients that we continue our communication with both parties to ensure that the transition period is as smooth as possible.
We don't just focus from the initial first day or until the end of the probation period but continuing to build on the relationship throughout
the first year.
